Would you like to polish up your English, but aren’t interested in taking more classes? Do you want to be better prepared for your next big trip abroad? Or do you have an upcoming meeting with a business partner who only speaks English? Then the English Stammtisch is the perfect event for you! This is not an English course – there are no texts, tests, or homework. The focus is simply on fluent speaking in small groups, utilizing the English you already know and improving your ability to speak it. Different conversational topics provide a focus for each Stammtisch, and these themes are designed to meet the needs and interests of the participants. Previous topics have included travel, small talk, leisure, common mistakes, idioms, and popular song lyrics. A native English speaker is available to gladly offer advice and support when it is needed. The English Stammtisch provides every participant with the opportunity to improve their English while having fun at the same time!
